Trumpeter Swan Head Flute

A distinctive design, the Trumpeter Swan Head Flute is certainly dramatic. With the contrasting white feathers and black beak, there is no mistaking what bird this flute has been inspired by. The carefully painted and carved feathers, eyes and beak on the head show the craftmanship and time that is put into creating this work of art. Add to that the painted rings and you have a fine flute to show off while you are playing with your musical friends or to enjoy in solitary pleasure.

Trumpeter Swans are the largest water birds. The adults are completely white except for the black on their heads. They are beautiful to see swimming in a pond, lake or calm river, and are really impressive in a group. At one time they were becoming very rare, but now that people have stopped hunting them for their feathers they are increasing in numbers making them more easy to spot.

Notice that the Whistle Block is also a Trumpeter Swan head, to round out the theme of this flute.

The flute above is a custom made flute created from a single piece of premium cedar wood and well tuned with an electronic tuner. It is 27" long and is in the key of A with a Trumpeter Swan whistle block.

This flute is available in the keys of A, G, G#, F,and F#
